On 1st August 2026, the Department of Kayachikitsa organized a Vertical Integrated Teaching Programme on “Prameha (Diabetes Mellitus)” for Batch 2026–27 at Bhausaheb Mulak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur, under the guidance of Dr. C. S. Tanmane Ma’am. The programme was graced by Dr. Y. D. Kale, Principal, whose presence inspired the participants.
Faculty members from the Departments of Dravyaguna, Kayachikitsa, Shalyatantra, Shalakyatantra, Samhita Siddhant, and Kriya Sharir presented the topic from their respective specialties, providing students with a holistic and integrated understanding of Prameha. The programme promoted interdisciplinary learning and strengthened the implementation of vertical integration in Ayurvedic medical education.
