Free Geriatric Check-up Camp was Successfully organized by
PG Department of Kayachikitsa, Bhausaheb Mulak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya & Hospital, Nandanvan, Nagpur, successfully organized a Free Geriatric Check-up Camp on 24th July 2026 at Shree Durga Mata Mandir, Darshan Colony, Nagpur.
The camp was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Y. D. Kale, Principal; Dr. Bhagadkar, Deputy Superintendent; and Dr. C. S. Tanmane, Professor and Head, Department of Kayachikitsa. A total of 106 beneficiaries availed free healthcare services, including blood sugar testing, bone mineral density testing, ECG examination, dietary guidance, diet charts, and Ayurvedic medicines.
The programme also included yoga demonstrations by Dr. Mamta Talmale, Professor, and Dr. Sharayu Gajapure, Associate Professor, Department of Swasthavritta and Yoga, promoting fitness and healthy ageing among the elderly.
The camp received valuable support from Muktangan Jyeshtha Nagarik Kendra and various pharmaceutical companies and Medical Representatives, who provided free medicines for distribution. The camp was successfully conducted with the active participation of faculty members Dr Bhairavi Nimbarte, Dr Ummed Raut, Dr Nayan Deshmukh, Dr Ashwini Nakade, Dr Mayuri Shingnapurkar, Dr Kumud Bahurupi, postgraduate students, interns, undergraduate students, volunteers, and organizers.
