REPORT ON WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2026

On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026 , Dravyaguna Department of Bhausaheb Mulak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur organized a Tree Plantation Programme,essay competition and Speech to promote environmental awareness and sustainable living among students.
The programme included the plantation of ten medicinal and environmentally beneficial plants such as Guduchi, Nimba, Aragvadha, and Amalaki within the college campus.
An informative speech on environmental conservation and sustainable practices was delivered by the Second BAMS students. An Essay Competition on the topic “Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development” was also conducted, encouraging students to express their views on environmental issues and solutions.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Sunita Paradkar, Head of the Department of Dravyaguna, and was graced by the presence of our respected Principal, Dr. Yuwaraj Kale Sir.
Teaching faculty of Dravyaguna Dept.Dr.Sunita Paradkar HOD, Dr. Pravina Daf (Associate Professor), Dr. Piyusha Sarode, and Dr. Sanket Mohata (Assistant Professors), along with other faculty members, actively participated in the programme.
Second year BAMS students, postgraduate scholars, and faculty members enthusiastically participated in all activities. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks. The event was informative, inspiring, and successful in spreading awareness about environmental conservation and the importance of protecting nature for future generations.
