Report on “World Tuberculosis Day 2026 “

On the occasion of ” World Tuberculosis Day 2026″, Dravyaguna department,of Bhausaheb Mulak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya Nagpur
has organized an awareness programme to educate students about tuberculosis.
In this programme Guest lecture was delivered by by Dr. Shilpa Jichkar Ma’am, City TB Officer on theme *”yes!we can end TB “.She well explained , preventive measures of tuberculosis and highlighted the protocols regarding NTEP with est.of DOT ,DMC centre .
Second Guest lecture was also given by Dr Sanket Nandurkar,WHO consultant at NMC,T.B.Hospital,Nagpur. He also elaborated on the symptoms,early diagnosis and new treatment regimen on TB.
The programme was successfully conducted under the guidance of Dr. Sunita Paradkar, HOD of Dravyaguna Department.
First ,second BAMS Students, interns, postgraduate scholars, and teaching faculty were actively participated in the programme.

The session concluded with Vote of thanks which was give by Dr.Neha Dudhe,1st year Pg student of Dravyaguna dept.
The session was interactive,very informative and helpful in spreading awareness about TB and₹ its prevention.
This awareness program was successfully conducted with the permission of our Principal Dr.Yuwaraj Kale Sir.
