On the occasion of World Health Day, 7th April 2026, a health check-up camp was successfully organized by the PG Department of Kayachikitsa and Rasashastra at Bhausaheb Mulak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Nandanvan, Nagpur.
The camp was conducted under the valuable guidance of Dr. Y.D. Kale, Principal and HOD Shalakya Tantra, Dr. C S. Tanmane, HOD and Professor Kayachikitsa department, Dr. S. Bhagadkar, Deputy Superintendent and Dr. Sneha Kubde, HOD and Professor Rasa Shastra department. The initiative aimed to promote preventive healthcare and create awareness about the importance of a healthy lifestyle among the community.
A total of 109 patients benefited from the camp, receiving free consultations, medicine , ECG and expert health guidance from experienced Ayurvedic practitioners. The camp focused on holistic health management and emphasized the role of Ayurveda in maintaining overall well-being.
In addition to the health camp, essay and speech competitions were organized for students to encourage active participation and to spread awareness about health-related topics. These activities provided a platform for students to express their views and enhance their understanding of health and wellness.
The program was highly informative and impactful, successfully conveying the significance of a healthy lifestyle among students, patients, and public.
