On account of ‘World Oral Health Day’, the Department of Shalakya Tantra conducted a social awareness camp under the name ‘Tobacco Cessation Campaign’.
Being the keynote speaker, Dr. Sharwari D Girhepunje, Dental Surgeon, spoke about the negative effects of tobacco consumption and urged people to practice strict stoppage of the habit. During the campaign, attendees shared their doubts regarding oral and dental concerns and recieved counselling for the same.
The camp was successfully organised under the guidance of our Principal & HOD Dr Yuwraj Kale sir, Dr Suprabha Tayade,Dr. Sandeep Rajak and Dr.Snehal supported in coordination.
