Matrusparsh – Program Report

Program Overview:
The Matrusparsh -Lactation Awareness program, a Continuing Medical Education (CME) initiative, was successfully conducted today at Bhausaheb Mulak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya. The event focused on breastfeeding support and awareness, exploring management through Ayurvedic principles on the occasion of International Lactation Week Celebration.
Key Highlights:
1. Guest Speaker: Dr. Krushnali Taori, Certified Lactation Professional and Founder of The Mom Experts, delivered an informative session on breastfeeding support.
2. Activities: Participants engaged in role-play guided by Dr.Pradhan sir and poster competitions, showcasing their creativity and understanding of breastfeeding awareness.
3. Awards:
– 5 outstanding posters received gifts and certificates by Charak Pharma
– Role-play participants were awarded shlokawali by Dr. Avinash Karambhe sir.
Attendance: The program saw active participation from final-year students and Respected all faculty members, contributing to their academic and extracurricular credits.
Organizing Committee:
Under the guidance of Respected Principal Dr. Yuwaraj Kale Sir and Dr. Vidya Ingole mam HOD Balrog Dept. The program was organized by the faculty members of BMAM Dr. Sphurti Dandale, Dr. Avinash Karambhe, Dr. Abhijeet Pradhan,Dr. Rajashree Shelare, Dr.Sandhyarani Agarkar, Dr.Navin Kuraskar , Dr. Sayali Khandelwal and PG students of Kaumarbhritya department overseeing the event.
Outcome:
The program successfully raised awareness about the importance of breastfeeding and its management through Ayurvedic principles, aligning with the institution’s commitment to holistic healthcare education.
