As a part of the celebration of International Yoga Week 2026, the Department of Swasthavrutta & Yoga organized a Suryanamaskar Competition on 19 June 2026.
90 Students enthusiastically participated in the event and demonstrated the correct sequence, posture alignment, coordination, and breathing techniques associated with Suryanamaskar.
The participants performed Suryanamaskar with great energy and discipline, reflecting their dedication towards yoga and healthy living.
The competition was judged by Dr. Madhavi Rehpade, Dr. Omprakash Gulhane, Dr. Yogesh Tulshan, and Ms Saloni Tandedar who appreciated the sincere efforts, accuracy, and enthusiasm displayed by the participants.
The event was successfully conducted by the Department of Swasthavrutta & Yoga with the support of faculty members Dr. Mamta Talmale, Dr. Sharayu Gajapure, Dr. Rupali Bhanare, and Dr. Snehal Bhamkar, along with PG students and other staff members of the department.
