Vector Borne Disease Control Programme

The Department of Swasthavritta and Yoga, Bhausaheb Mulak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Nandanvan, Nagpur organized a guest lecture on “Vector Borne Disease Control Programme” on 23 June 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Library Hall, Ground Floor, New Building.

The guest speaker for the session was Mrs. Monika Charmode Raghorte, District Filaria Officer, Nagpur.

She delivered an informative lecture on various vector-borne diseases, their modes of transmission, preventive measures, and the importance of public health programmes for disease control. She also highlighted the role of community participation in preventing mosquito-borne diseases such as malaria, dengue, and filariasis.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Yuwaraj Kale, Principal and HOD, Shalakya Tantra, and Dr. Madhavi Rehpade, HOD and Professor, Department of Swasthavritta and Yoga.

The programme was organized by Dr. Mamta Talmale, Dr. Omprakash Gulhane, Dr. Sharayu Gajapure, Dr. Rupali Bhanare, Dr. Snehal Bhamkar and PG students.

The session concluded with an interactive discussion and a vote of thanks.
