World Kidney Day – Poster Competition
A poster competition was organized on the occasion of World Kidney Day dated 12/03/2026 to create awareness among students regarding kidney health and the prevention of kidney diseases. The programme was conducted by the department Of Rachana Sharir with active participation from UG & PG students.
The event aimed to promote awareness about the importance of healthy kidneys, early detection of kidney disorders, lifestyle modification, and preventive healthcare practices. Students enthusiastically participated and presented creative and informative posters highlighting themes such as kidney care, hydration, healthy diet, prevention of chronic kidney disease, and organ donation awareness.
The competition encouraged students to express scientific knowledge through artistic presentation while spreading health awareness messages. Posters were evaluated based on creativity, scientific accuracy, clarity of message, and overall presentation by the judging panel ,Dr.Anand Tekade & Dr.Shweta .Patil Winners were appreciated and certificates were distributed to participants.The programme was succesfully carried out under the encouragement of Resp.Mr.Rajendraji Mulak Sir, Dr.Yuvraj Kale Sir,Principal and HOD,Shalakya Tantra Dept & Dr.Alka Charde Mam ,HOD Rachana Sharir Dept.
The event was conducted in the presence of Ass.Professors,Asso.Professors ,PG Students & Departmental Staffs.
The event concluded with positive feedback from students and faculty, making the programme both educational and engaging.
