Health Camp On Vaman Dhauti (Kunjal Kriya)

On 6 February 2026, the Department of Swasthavritta and Yoga, Bhausaheb Mulak Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya and Rugnalaya successfully conducted a health camp on Vaman Dhauti (Kunjal Kriya) for the management of Amlapitta.
The camp aimed to create awareness about Amlapitta, an Ayurvedic condition associated with Pitta imbalance, and to highlight the therapeutic role of yogic cleansing techniques in improving digestive health. An educational session was delivered explaining the concept, causes, symptoms, and preventive measures of Amlapitta.
Participants were guided through Vaman Dhauti (Kunjal Kriya) under expert supervision with emphasis on proper technique, precautions, and contraindications. Participants reported a feeling of lightness, reduced gastric discomfort, and improved digestion after the session.
The camp concluded with dietary and lifestyle counseling. The program emphasized the importance of integrating Ayurveda and Yoga for effective management of digestive disorders and was well appreciated by all participants.
