On the occasion of World Patient Safety Day, Bhausaheb Mulak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya and Hospital ,Nandanvan, Nagpur, organized a programme on “Patient Safety Day” .
The program began with a warm welcome of the dignitaries.
The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Yuwaraj Kale (Principal and HOD, Shalakya Tantra), Deputy Suprintendant Dr. Sangeeta Bhagadkar ,Dr. C. S. Tanmane (HOD, Kayachikitsa), Dr. Sandhya Wagh (HOD, Nidan), Dr. Meena Alnewar (HOD Shalya ) and Dr. Madhavi Rehpade (HOD Swasthavritta), who encouraged the hospital staff and interns.
The program was hosted by Dr. Payal Dhokne ( Medical Officer). Introduction and awareness speech about patient safety is delivered by Dr Saima Anam Shareef ( Medical Officer ).
Dr Chaya Tanmane ( HOD Kayachikitsa), Dr Meena Alnewar ( HOD Shalyatantara ) and Dr Sharad Tripathi ( Associate professor Shalyatantara ) explained the importance of patient safety and suggested about the lacunas to be work on .
The programme ended with vote of thanks given by Dr Saima Anam Shareef and Dr Payal Dhokne .
All hospital staff attended the programme.
Dr. Sandhyarani Agarkar delivered a speech which is valuable for students . She said if you think someone might be suicidal, take action, interrupt their thoughts and show them you care.
Our respected Principal Dr. Kale sir appealed students that how important is everyone for their parents, family and us and how to control the negative thoughts.
The occasion was graced by HOD Dr. Rehpade ma’am, s.w., Dr. Gulhane, Dr. Gajapure, Dr. Bhanare and staff from various departments. 🙏Near about 40 ug and pg students attended the program.
