Organ donation awareness was conducted by Rachana Sharir Departmentment viz 20 august 2020. The program was conducted under the guidance of Dr.Alka Charde (HOD, Rachana Sharir dept.), Dr.Pratibha Atram(ASSO.Professor, Rachana Sharir dept.),Dr. Pallavi Pawar(Patil)(Lecturer, Rachana Sharir dept) and all the PG,s and UG, S gave their cooperation. One day before on 18 august, an Essay competition was held. many students participated with their new ideas and real facts about organ donation.
The program started on 20 August with an awareness rally with all precautionary measures regarding the covid -19 pandemic giving important messages on organ donation. The rally with students carrying banners and boards with slogans invited many and this year received a great number of registered organ donors to get registered for organ donation Maximum students participated with great zeal and then the program was inaugurated by Dr.Meena Alnewar, Principal, Bmam, Nagpur. Various competitions like posters, speeches, and the rangoli were held on the same day. The floor of Auditorium was sprinkled with beautiful colors of rangoli with innovative ideas spreading a message of organ donation and its benefits and some of the students of our college painted a beautiful picture which melted the hearts of many and invited many more registered donors. Many students express their ideas of organ donation through posters. Dr.Meena Alnewar, Principal BMAM, Nagpur,as a chief guest delivered a speech and encouraged all the audience for donating organs..Encouraging words were flowing from both principal madam and Dr.Yuvaraj Kale(Prof. & HOD ShalakyaTantra dept )sir. In this way the program was ended with a Prize distribution program was arranged for winner students of various competitions. Prize was distributed by principal Dr.Alnewar mam and by Dean Dr.Dive Sir
